About Coastal Creations Mobile Pottery Studio
Coastal Creations Mobile Pottery Studio was established in 2024 after many years of our owner Rhiannon painting for family and friends. Rhiannon decided with the overwhelming support of the Cove Bay community, to give the business a go and set up local ceramic classes. Since officially starting up in April 24, we have successfully held weekly adult & children’s painting classes to the local area, giving all who attend a calm and relaxing environment suitable for all ages and abilities to enjoy.

We have attended hires across the North East of Scotland providing a unique and exciting painting opportunity to care homes, charity groups and inpatients in hospital.

Recently we have started doing craft events and fairs around Aberdeenshire, allowing those who cannot attend the classes the opportunity to paint from the comfort of their own home. Our painting kits have been really popular for creating family painting nights or girls nights in!
Our Aim
Our aim is to bring back creating our own personalised gifts for friends & family, promoting an eco friendly approach to gifting. Hand made gifts are more likely to be treasured for life and hold a sentimental value, rather than end up being binned like a lot of shop bought gifts. Adding that personal touch enables the creator to feel a sense of pride knowing they created the gift by hand.
About Me
My name is Rhiannon and I am the founder of Coastal Creations MPS. My passion for ceramics started in S1 of high school during activity week, where I painted my first ceramic bear and really enjoyed the experience. From there I started attending weekly ceramic classes at my local hall in Elgin.. and the rest is history. I love painting gifts for family and friends by personalising hand prints for my nieces or designing ornaments for weddings & births.
The vision for Coastal Creations MPS is to encourage more people to relax, unwind and enjoy creating art by bringing our ceramic studio right to you. We cater to groups of all sizes, ages and abilities to provide a truly exciting and personalised experience.

I enjoy sea swimming and anything outdoors with my partner, walks on the beach (especially if there sea glass!), roller skating and meeting up with my friends and family. I love getting crafty & creating new art where I can make things beautiful and unique.

Some of my most proudest moments are graduating as a nurse in 2022 and undertaking fundraising activity's. I have taken part in several fundraising efforts which have raised nearly £2500 for charities by taking part in a 10,000ft skydive, a 300ft bungee jump (by far the most terrifying thing I've ever done), and shaving off my hair & donating it.
