Terms and Conditions
Applicable to Party Hire, Studio Sessions and Adults Classes 

1. Booking & Payment

  • Full payment is required to secure any class or studio session.

  • Party hire dates are confirmed only once the booking fee or required payment has been received.

  • All bookings operate on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

 

2. Late Arrivals, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Late Arrivals

  • If you are running late, please message, email, or call us as soon as possible.

  • Sessions cannot be extended beyond the time originally booked and paid for.

  • Extensions may only be possible if the following session has available space, but this is not guaranteed.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before your class or session.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no‑shows, are non‑refundable.

  • Bookings made within 24 hours of the start time are non‑refundable and non‑reschedulable.

Studio‑Initiated Changes

  • We may cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Participants will be notified as early as possible and offered a full refund or transfer to another date.

Party Bookings (Short‑Notice Policy)

  • Party bookings require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations, changes to session duration, or adjustments to painter numbers.

  • If fewer than 8 painters attend, the fee for 8 painters will still apply.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are not eligible for a refund and cannot be rescheduled.

 

3. Health & Safety

  • All participants must follow staff safety instructions.

  • Failure to follow safety guidance may result in removal without refund.

  • Smoking, including vapes and e‑cigarettes, is not permitted indoors.

  • Jackets and bags must be stored on hooks or chairs to keep walkways clear.

4. Alcohol & Substance Policy

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who appears intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

  • BYOB is permitted for guests aged 18+ with valid proof of age.

  • Alcohol must be consumed responsibly; disruptive or unsafe behaviour results in removal without refund.

  • Guests bringing alcohol must dispose of bottles, cans, and waste appropriately.

  • Please inform us in advance if you intend to bring alcohol.

  • No one under 18 may be present during sessions where alcohol is consumed.

  • Drinks may be required to remain on a designated side table for safety.

  • Alcohol consumption is at the participant’s own risk.

  • Participants are responsible for arranging safe travel home.

  • Staff decisions regarding safety, intoxication, or removal are final.

 

5. Food, Drink & Allergy Considerations

  • Participants may bring their own food and drinks.

  • All guests must be mindful of others’ allergies.

  • If another painter has a relevant allergy, certain foods may be restricted during the session.

  • The studio is not responsible for allergic reactions caused by food or drink brought by participants.

 

6. Coffee Machine Use

  • The coffee machine is self‑service.

  • Staff will provide guidance on safe use; written instructions are available.

  • Participants must use the machine carefully to avoid burns or injury.

  • The studio is not liable for injuries sustained while using the drinks machine.

  • Damage to the machine or drinkware may incur repair or replacement charges.

  • Used cups and glasses must be left in a safe place for staff to collect.

 

7. Use of Materials & Equipment

  • All tools, brushes, palettes, and materials remain the property of the studio.

  • Completed pieces must be taken home after spray‑sealing.

  • Participants must:

  • Handle brushes gently.

  • Follow instructions for specialist tools.

  • Minimise waste (start with a small 5p‑sized amount of paint).

 

8. Breakages

  • Any item broken - accidental or intentional - must be paid for by the participant responsible.

  • For children this responsibility falls on the parent / guardian. 

9. Adult Classes

  • Participants must be 16+.

  • Comfortable clothing is recommended.

  • Aprons are provided, but the studio is not responsible for stained or damaged clothing.

  • Missed sessions are non‑refundable and non‑transferable unless otherwise stated.

  • Please inform us in advance of any severe allergies.

 

10. Minimum Attendance

  • A minimum of 4 participants is required for adult classes.

  • If minimum numbers are not met, the class may be rescheduled or cancelled.

 

11. Adverse Weather

  • In severe weather, classes will typically be rescheduled.

  • The studio is not responsible for travel arrangements.

  • Participants should prioritise their safety.

 

12. Media Release

  • By attending sessions or parties, you grant permission for photos or videos to be used for promotional purposes.

  • If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us at the start of the session.

 

13. Parking Policy

  • Parking is available on a first‑come, first‑served basis; spaces may be limited between 9am and 4pm.

  • Additional on‑street parking is available nearby.

  • Guests are responsible for parking legally and safely.

  • The studio is not responsible for damage, loss, theft, fines, or fees.

  • All vehicles, bikes, and other transport must be parked in designated bays (where applicable) and securely locked.
