Ceramics Classes Terms and Conditions

General Terms (Applicable to All Participants)

 

Booking and Payment

 

Full payment is required to secure a place in the class. Spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Cancellation Policy

You may reschedule a class no later than 24 hours before the start time. Written confirmation of cancellation is also required and must be sent via email or WhatsApp.

Class Changes: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be notified at the earliest opportunity and offered a full refund or transfer to another session.

Health and Safety: All participants must follow safety instructions provided by the instructor. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the class without refund.

Use of Materials: All tools and materials provided remain the property of the studio unless otherwise stated. Completed pieces require to be taken home after being spray sealed.

Smoking in not permitted in any of the events, only in Designated Areas outside.

 

 

Alcohol and Substance Consumption Policy

We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol and substance use at our classes. Additionally, any aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour towards others will not be tolerated. Anyone violating these rules will be immediately removed from the class to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all our patrons.

 

Use of Materials

Brushes and painting materials are delicate and must be handled with care. Participants are expected to:

  • Use brushes gently to avoid damage

  • Clean palettes thoroughly after use

  • Minimize waste, ideally use a 5p size amount of paint to start with.

 

 

Safety Notice

 

Please be mindful when placing jackets and bags. Use designated hangers or hang them securely on chairs to help keep walkways clear and prevent trip hazards. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe space for everyone

 

 

Breakages

If a participant breaks an item, whether intentionally or accidentally, they will be responsible for covering the cost of the item.

 

 

Adult Classes

 

Eligibility: Participants must be 16 years of age or older.

 

Attire: Comfortable clothing is recommended. Aprons can be provided, but the studio is not responsible for stained or damaged clothing.

 

Missed Sessions: Missed classes are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise specified in the course description.

 

 

Children’s Classes (Ages 5–15)

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the session.

Children under 5 may attend class if the parent is confident in their child’s ability and take full responsibility for their child throughout the class.

 

Please inform us ahead of time if there are any severe allergies as we do store food and drinks.

Behaviour Expectations: Children are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors and peers. Disruptive behaviour may result in dismissal without refund.

 

 

Class Minimum Attendance Policy

 

Adult & child classes: Minimum of 4 participants

 

If minimum numbers are not met, the class may be rescheduled or cancelled.

We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us continue to offer quality sessions.

 

 

Adverse Weather Policy

 

In the event of a severe weather warning, if you are unable to attend, classes will typically be rescheduled. However, please note that we are not responsible for any travel arrangements to or from the event. We advise all patrons to prioritize their safety and plan accordingly.

 

 

Media Release

 

By attending our classes, you grant permission for photos or videos taken during the session to be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us at the start of class.
